Cric-Nick 2.0 - Rise Up

Feature film about Nick, a 37-42 year old South Asian ex-sportsman who is overweight but trying to lose it while coping with present circumstances and dealing with his past and his father's reappearance in his life. The story involves Nick dealing with trauma from his past and the effects it brings, as he tries to let go of things holding him back and finally become the person and athlete he was meant to be. Produced by Nicholas Aska and Lisa Lamothe, with Akeem Ogunmilade as Executive Producer. Filming scheduled for May 4-13, 2026 in Markham, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario.
