Dad's House

Dad's House is an adult animated comedy series that has received a series order from Netflix. The project reunites the streaming platform with showrunners and executive producers Michael Cusack, Dario Russo, and David Ashby, who also provide voice work alongside Felicity Ward. Cusack is known for co-creating Adult Swim's Smiling Friends and YOLO, while Russo and Ashby previously collaborated on the cult Australian series Danger 5 and Italian Spiderman. The series centers on Sean, a 13-year-old navigating life between divorced parents in suburban Australia, where his laidback father Ian's attempts at quality weekend bonding consistently spiral into complications. Production will take place at Princess Bento Animation Studio in South Melbourne, a joint venture between Australian production company Princess Pictures and FOX Entertainment's Bento Box Entertainment. The series joins Netflix's expanding adult animation slate alongside upcoming titles including Mating Season, Dang! , and Alley Cats.
