Diana: The Unheard Truth
Project Summary
Diana: The Unheard Truth is a three-part docuseries currently in production from Love Monday TV and 53 Degrees Global. The series centers on five hours of secret audio recordings Princess Diana made with close friend Dr. James Colthurst in 1991, which originally formed the basis of Andrew Morton's explosive biography Diana: Her True Story. Less than one hour of this material has been heard publicly in the three decades since Diana's death. Executive producers Kerene Barefield and Naveed Chowdhary-Flatt lead the Love Monday team, with Sophie Todd series editing, Emily Hirst producing, and Justin Frahm as director of photography. The project is fully funded by Rainmaker Films and Plymouth Films. Production continues through 2026 for a planned August 31, 2027 release marking the 30th anniversary of Diana's passing. The series is currently being shopped to distributors worldwide.
