Disavowed

Disavowed is an action thriller series greenlit by Apple TV+, starring James Marsden as Brad Griffin, a legendary CIA Case Officer who is abruptly fired during a global hunt for an elusive assassin responsible for killing his colleague. Disgraced and cut off from the intelligence world, Griffin decides to pursue the $15 million federal bounty on the assassin's head. The series is created by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, the writing duo behind Iron Man and Uncharted, marking their first television project. Tom Spezialy joins as showrunner and executive producer alongside Marsden, Marcum, and Holloway. The project comes from Apple Studios and Blue Marble Pictures, the production company behind Apple's acclaimed drama Pachinko, with Theresa Kang and Caroline Garity executive producing. The series order was announced in early May 2026, with no production start date or premiere window yet disclosed.
