Fear Factor: House of Fear

Fear Factor: House of Fear is heading into pre-production for its second season on Fox, with Johnny Knoxville confirmed to return as host. The unscripted competition series, produced by Endemol Shine North America, was renewed following a successful debut season that premiered in January 2026 and delivered 16.5 million multiplatform viewers. The format places 14 strangers together in an isolated location where they face extreme physical stunts combined with a social-strategy game. Executive producers Kevin Lee serves as showrunner alongside Anthony Carbone, Lindsay Tuggle, and Endemol's Sharon Levy, Michael Heyerman, and Sean Loughlin. Season 1 was filmed in Vancouver, Canada, and the network has indicated Season 2 will follow a similar production approach. Fox is bridging the gap with a two-part special event, Fear Factor: 48 Hours of Fear, scheduled for May 2026, before Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2027.
