Foreign Tongue

Set in 2011, the plot revolves around a talented singer whose life takes an unexpected turn after an accident leaves her with a rare condition called Foreign Accent Syndrome (FAS), causing her to speak in a foreign accent. Kathy moves from Vancouver to Toronto, where Sarah, a childhood friend, helps her thrive professionally as a recruiter. However, she remains closed off and cynical when it comes to her dating life, specifically after her divorce.
