Project Summary
Grace is an acerbic, aging WASP who has been married to Robert for 40 years. Frankie is an aging hippie earth mother who has been married to Sol for 40 years. Although Grace and Frankie can barely stand each other, they're forced to bond unhappily, thanks to a joint trauma: their husbands announce they are gay, have been secret lovers for 20 years, and are divorcing their flabbergasted, insulted, deeply angry wives, in order to marry each other.
