Green Bank

Green Bank is a sci-fi horror thriller that begins production this week at Pangaea Studios in Atlanta. Director Josh Ruben, who recently helmed the romantic slasher Heart Eyes, returns to the genre with this creature feature written by Aaron Horwitz. The film stars Brittany O'Grady in the lead role of an infant sleep-trainer, alongside Tatiana Maslany, Kumail Nanjiani, Jim Belushi, and Taylor John Smith. Set in the real Green Bank, West Virginia—a town within the National Radio Quiet Zone where wifi and cell service have been severely restricted since the 1950s for scientific research—the story follows O'Grady's character as she uncovers sinister forces lurking beneath the surface. Production companies Big Swell Entertainment, Pangaea Studios, and Ruben's Nocturnal Kid banner are producing, with legendary effects artist Greg Nicotero and KNB EFX Group handling the creature effects.
