Hanne On The High Sea

"Hanne on the High Sea" follows Hannelore Schmitt, a German widow in her late 60's who feels life is passing her by. After taking a job as an usher at a performing arts theater, she unexpectedly starts an affair and becomes enamored with Annie Edson Taylor's story, the first person to survive going over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Inspired by Annie's age at the time, Hannelore decides to take charge of her own future, convincing her friends to join her on an adventure of a lifetime.
