High Potential

High Potential returns for its third season with new leadership at the helm. Nora and Lilla Zuckerman have been named showrunners and executive producers, stepping in after Todd Harthan departed to focus on Disney+'s Eragon adaptation. The Zuckerman sisters, who previously ran the first season of Peacock's Poker Face, join the 20th Television production under their overall deal with the studio. The crime dramedy stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan Gillory, an intellectually gifted single mother who becomes a consultant for the LAPD's Major Crimes Division. Created by Drew Goddard and based on the French series HPI, the show is produced by Goddard Textiles, Spondoolie Productions, and 20th Television for ABC. Season 3 will premiere in winter 2027, with production expected to begin later in 2026. The series has been a major hit for ABC, averaging over 16 million multiplatform viewers.
