Hope Valley: 1874 (Season 2)

Hope Valley: 1874 is heading back into production for its second season on Hallmark+. The When Calls the Heart prequel series broke records as the streaming service's most successful launch to date, prompting the early renewal ahead of the Season 1 finale. Alfonso Moreno returns as showrunner, with production company All Canadian Entertainment and executive producers Brad Krevoy, Brian Bird, and Michael Landon Jr. back on board. The eight-episode season will bring back stars Bethany Joy Lenz, Benjamin Ayres, and Jill Hennessy to the Gold Rush-era drama that explores the origins of Hope Valley. Season 1 filmed in Vancouver and Langley, British Columbia, from December 2025 through March 2026. The second season is set to premiere in 2027 exclusively on Hallmark+, though specific production dates have not yet been announced.
