Iron Ribbon

Iron Ribbon is a UK independent feature now in pre-production with principal photography aimed for late 2026. Sarah Gadon leads the cast as Polish actress Stanisława "Stasia" Umińska, whose 1920s Paris trial became a landmark crime-of-passion case after she was accused of killing her lover, artist Jan Zyznowski, in what became one of the earliest high-profile mercy killing trials. Tom Hughes portrays Zyznowski, with Robert Kazinsky as prosecutor Donat Guigne, Tamer Hassan as Arnold Szyfman, and Lee Knight as Tuwim. Written by Adam Howes and directed by Jarek Marszewski, the film is being produced by DG Productions, with Daniella Gonella, Lee Thomas, Jay Michaelson, and Rosa Russo producing. Michał Sobociński serves as cinematographer.
