Widowed TV director Miles Aaronson is focused on his big career break until he learns his daughter Zoe has been secretly using heroin. Reluctantly sending her to a Utah rehab over Christmas, he's forced to join a four-day parent workshop or risk her dismissal. At the ranch, Miles resists at first, but a bold counselor's methods push him to see that Zoe isn't the only one who needs to change.
