Keep Your Friends Close

Keep Your Friends Close is heading into development at Peacock as a murder mystery series adapted from Lucinda Berry's psychological thriller novel. Writer and executive producer Leo Richardson, known for his work on Tell Me Lies and You, is spearheading the project alongside executive producer Garcelle Beauvais. FilmNation Entertainment is producing with Universal Television serving as the studio. The series centers on the murder of the West Hollywood Mom's Club president, where her wealthy circle of friends become prime suspects. Richardson brings experience from Netflix's You, The CW's Katy Keene, Fox's Star, and BBC's EastEnders, while Beauvais continues to expand her producing work following recent Lifetime projects. The project is in early development as Peacock builds out its mystery slate.
