Project Summary

Kim, the Diamond, and the Grandpa Robbers is a four-part docuseries currently in production for Canal+, produced by Pernel Media. The series explores the October 2016 armed robbery during Paris Fashion Week when five masked men posing as police officers entered Kardashian's Parisian apartment and stole approximately $6 million in jewelry, including a 20-carat diamond ring. Director Agnès Buthion leads the project, with Samuel Kissous and Fabrice Frank serving as executive producers and Clément Roquigny as creative producer. The documentary draws on exclusive interviews with members of the gang—nicknamed the 'Grandpa Robbers' due to their senior age—and the lawyers who defended them following their 2025 trial, which resulted in eight convictions. Kardashian is not involved in the production. An international version is scheduled for delivery in early 2027, with Canal+ planning a French premiere followed by a global rollout.
