La Petite

La Petite is a four-part crime drama commissioned by France 2, with production set to begin in approximately six weeks. Marco Cherqui produces through CPB Films, now part of Incognita Films under the leadership of Édouard de Vésinne. Antoine Garceau, known for directing episodes of Call My Agent! , helms the series from a script by Emmanuelle Michaud, who previously wrote Vendetta and La Terre et le sang. Pauline Parigot stars as a detective investigating a murder in Northern France. The series tackles violence against women within a restrained thriller structure, following two families in a provincial town whose children were raised with the expectation of becoming a couple—a future the young woman ultimately rejects, triggering a devastating sequence of events.
