Man of Tomorrow

Man of Tomorrow is currently in production as the fourth film in the DC Universe, with principal photography underway at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. James Gunn returns as writer, director, and producer, reuniting David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor in a story that forces the two rivals to work together against the alien threat Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger. The film marks Brainiac's first live-action theatrical appearance. Matthew Lillard has joined the ensemble in an undisclosed role, alongside returning cast members Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. Additional filming is taking place in Macon, Georgia, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the United Kingdom, with production scheduled to wrap in mid-2026. DC Studios' Peter Safran is producing alongside Gunn. The sequel is slated for theatrical release on July 9, 2027.
