Matka King Season 2

Matka King returns to Prime Video for a second season after the first run topped the streamer's charts across 17 territories. Created and written by Abhay Koranne and Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, who also directs, the period crime drama follows a cotton trader who builds an illegal gambling empire in 1960s Bombay through the game of Matka. Season 1 was produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Nagraj Popatrao Manjule, Gargi Kulkarni, Ashwini Sidwani, and Ashish Aryan under Roy Kapur Films, Aatpat, and SMR Entertainment. Vijay Varma returns to lead the cast, with Prime Video promising the stakes will rise as the game continues. Season 2 is currently in development, with production details yet to be announced.
