Project Summary

Minimum Wage is heading to Netflix as a 28-episode series from American High, the Syracuse-based production company founded by Jeremy Garelick. Based on the viral American High Shorts series that has drawn over 30 million views across social platforms since launching in May 2024, the workplace comedy centers on a group of teenagers struggling to run a local pizzeria while juggling school, demanding managers, and low pay. Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps serve as showrunners and executive producers, with Axelle Azoulay also executive producing. The series was filmed in the Syracuse area and features the original cast from the shorts: Aidan Micho, Grace Reiter, Hyde Healy, Julia Dicesare, Luke Burke, Ryan Micho, and Tommy Armstrong. Each of the 28 episodes will run approximately 12. 5 minutes. The series marks American High's first television project and its first exclusive Netflix release, with a late 2026 premiere targeted.
