Pismo

Pismo is a coming-of-age comedic drama that has wrapped principal photography under first-time feature director Jillian Moray, who also stars in the film. Shot on 16mm in Pismo Beach, California, the project explores teenage female friendship and the sexual pressures young women face in the digital age. The cast includes Nuha Jes Izman (Yellowjackets), Madeline Popovich (Murdaugh: Death in the Family), Lindsey Normington (Anora), Jack Irv (The Sweet East), and Kentucker Audley (Strawberry Mansion). Claire Loudis, Gordy De St. Jeor, and Moray produce, with Radiance Pictures and Canopy Media Partners executive producing. Director of photography Violet Smith shot the film on 16mm to balance raw authenticity with Gen Z digital energy. The production is now in post-production following its recent wrap.
