In 2020, Hero awakens from a coma that began in the late 80s. He finds a world turned upside down by propaganda. With his father Glory and war hero grandfather Grandpa Alpha, Hero reconnects with childhood pals Buddy and Red. While vying for his first crush, the 'Girl Next Door', a maskless video of Hero goes viral, thrusting him into the role of the 'Rebel Without a Mask'. He must rapidly mature from a teen to a man to save the town, proving to Grandpa Alpha he's worthy of his name.
