Red Stick Hoods

Red Stick Hoods is a crime thriller from director Lance Kawas marking the first original screenplay by novelist Victor Gischler, whose novel Gun Monkeys became the 2023 film Fast Charlie. The film stars Stephen Dorff and Kevin Dillon as criminals in Baton Rouge's neon-lit underworld, where a routine job spins out of control. Kawas, known for Good Thief and Boneyard, will direct and produce, with executive producers including Hicham Benkirane, Ahmed Boomrod, and Max Czertok of Iuvit Media Sales, which launched international sales at Cannes. Production is slated to begin this fall, though specific filming locations have not yet been announced.
