Project Summary
Nick, missing his son during the holidays, cares for his sharp-witted mother, Betty. He reunites with his ex-girlfriend, Mary, and they start dating. Struggling at work with his father, Ed, Nick feels like a failure. He tries to lift Mary and her mother's spirits after an accident. Nick decides to become Santa and spread joy in the hospital. Through this, he learns that healing his grief and self-esteem comes from serving others and bringing smiles to children in town at Christmas.
