Sonny Boy

A Korean-Italian American playwright returns home to reconcile with his dying father after a failed writing career. He discovers that life back home has changed, and he struggles to make peace with his broken dream. Sonny finds a second calling as a high school teacher, but his father has ambitious expectations for him. Sonny tries to gain his father's approval but fails. He makes a mistake with a troubled student and returns home to undo the damage and discover who he can still become.
