A visiting home health aide falls in love with her paraplegic patient. Kate Murphy (Sillas) a recovering alcoholic, works as a visiting home health aide. After hitting rock bottom ten years ago, she strives to repair her broken life. She buries herself in the mundane daily but she is thrown a curveball when she is assigned to care for a young, beautiful paraplegic woman named Laura (Renton), & they fall in love. The two women share a mutual connection through their suffering, but temptation proves too much when Kate needs money to pay for her dying cat’s care. This is a human story about devotion, forgiveness, and the courage to love again after a loss.
