The Echo Chamber
Project Summary
The Echo Chamber is Andrea Pallaoro's latest feature, currently in post-production following a late 2025 shoot. The project carries significant legacy weight as the final work written by Bernardo Bertolucci, who collaborated on the story and screenplay with Ilaria Bernardini and Ludovica Rampoldi before his death in 2018. Pallaoro directs an international cast led by Luca Marinelli, Alicia Vikander, and Susan Sarandon in this intimate psychological drama. The film is an Italian-Belgian co-production from Indigo Film with Rai Cinema and Versus, produced by Nicola Giuliano, Francesca Cima, Carlotta Calori, and Viola Prestieri. The creative team includes cinematographer Diego García, editor Paola Freddi, and composer Clément Ducol. Paradise City Sales has boarded worldwide sales ahead of the Cannes Film Market, with UTA Independent Film Group co-repping for North America. Given Pallaoro's track record at Venice—where all three of his previous features premiered—the film is being positioned for a festival debut later in 2026.
