The Marvellous Miniature Workshop

The Marvellous Miniature Workshop returns to BBC One for a substantially expanded second season. EarlyBird, the newly launched independent production company founded by Dom Bird, has secured a 20-episode commission—more than doubling the show's original eight-episode run. Each episode has been extended to 45 minutes, allowing deeper exploration of the intricate craft as skilled miniaturists recreate beloved locations and buildings that hold special meaning to contributors. Sara Cox returns as presenter, guiding viewers through the detailed processes of miniature creation and the personal stories behind each project. Dom Bird and Nicki Stoker serve as executive producers on behalf of EarlyBird, with the format licensed from Amazon MGM Studios. The series is currently in production and is anticipated to air in December 2026 on BBC One and iPlayer.
