The Midway Point

17-year-old Jake Hartmann is an introverted high school junior growing up in an idyllic suburb in Buffalo, New York. Despite this, he is lonely and depressed, and is often detached from the world around him; Jake feels incomplete. During a very stressful day at school, Jake meets Alice Lisowski, a brash and outgoing senior in one of his classes. Together their growing bond will mean having to open up and discover their inner selves, forming a relationship deeper than they’ve ever experienced before.
