Project Summary
Based on L. Frank Baum's children's book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Wiz takes one of the world's most enduring American fantasies and transforms it into an all-Black musical extravaganza for the ages. The production will tour North America with rehearsals beginning August 26, 2026 in Springfield, OH. The show opens September 26, 2026 and closes June 27, 2027.
