They Like The Dark

They Like The Dark is an action-horror-thriller entering pre-production with Liam Hemsworth attached to star. Mike Pecci directs from a screenplay by Will Simmons. Scott Free Productions is producing through Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, and Sam Roston, with Gramercy Park Media providing financing and additional production support through Joshua Harris, Nathan Klingher, and Ford Corbett. The film follows a half-blind bomb technician who awakens chained in a warehouse and must escape with his service dog from vampire-like creatures in what's being described as The Raid meets horror. Production is scheduled for October 2026 in the United States. Fortitude International is handling international sales, with CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group co-representing domestic distribution rights.
