Project Summary

To Make Ends Meat has wrapped a six-week shoot in and around London for writer-director Luna Carmoon, whose debut feature Hoard premiered at Venice Critics' Week in 2023. The British filmmaker reunites with producers Helen Simmons of Erebus Pictures and Loran Dunn of Delaval Film, along with co-producers Cheri Darbon and Chloe Culpin. The film stars Naomi Ackie, Alison Oliver, Éanna Hardwicke, and Armande Boulanger in a story centered on three women navigating debt and survival. Hélène Louvart serves as cinematographer. Financing comes from BBC Film, BFI with National Lottery funding, True Brit, Goodfellas, Mother, ProdCo, Arts Alliance, Affine Films, Cofiloisirs, and Blush Film. Goodfellas handles international sales and will launch the film at the Cannes market in May 2026, with True Brit holding U.K. and Ireland distribution rights. The project is currently in post-production.
