Untitled Cam Heyward Documentary

An untitled documentary feature is currently in production from Hidden Empire Sports Collective, exploring the life and career of Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward. The film is directed by Deon Taylor and produced by Roxanne Avent Taylor, Ephraim Salaam, and Heyward himself through his newly launched production company, Iron 97 Productions. The documentary centers on the relationship between Cam and his late father, NFL running back Craig 'Ironhead' Heyward, who died of brain cancer in 2006 when Cam was in high school. Featuring archival family footage and interviews, the project examines how Cam continued his father's legacy by becoming a seven-time Pro Bowler and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award recipient with the Steelers. Filming is currently underway, marking Heyward's entry into entertainment production following his participation in the NFL Career Tour hosted by Hidden Empire Film Group and Skydance Sports.
