Untitled IVF Drama Series

HBO Max is developing an untitled limited series centered on an IVF mixup from executive producers Mandy Moore, Julia Brownell, and Averie Huffine. Brownell, who previously worked with Moore as a writer and co-executive producer on This Is Us, will write and serve as showrunner. Moore is expected to star in the role of one of the parents if the project is greenlit, though no acting deal is currently in place. Huffine is developing the series through her company Humble Sandwich Productions. The drama explores the emotional implications faced by two families who discover they are linked through a reproductive medicine error, examining how they navigate their intertwined fates while building unexpected bonds. The project reunites the This Is Us creative duo and marks one of several productions in Moore's expanding post-This Is Us slate.
