Filming in January: Robert Downey Jr. Stars in The Voyage Of Dr. Doolittle

Robert Downey Jr. is starring in Universal Picture's version of Dr. Doolittle. Filming will start in January 2018 in Los Angeles, CA.

  This ambitious adventure film will be directed by Academy Award winner Stephen Gaghan and will star Robert Downey Jr. Based on the 1920's children's books by Hugh Lofting, the film will be produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschembaum, alongside Susan Downey.

Project Synopsis:

The story follows the eccentric Dr. Doolittle, played by Robert Downey Jr., a former physician who lives and treats animals, clamming that he can communicate with them.
