Arts Alliance

Arts Alliance is a London-based media and technology company builder and venture investor founded in 1997 by Thomas Hoegh, with a 25+ year history of backing and building over 60 high-growth companies at the intersection of art, technology, and business — including Shazam, LoveFilm, Ocado, Picturehouse Cinemas, and lastminute.com. Through its production arm, Arts Alliance Productions, it produces and distributes documentary films and filmed live events such as Misha and the Wolves (Sundance 2021), Disney's Newsies: The Broadway Musical! (2017), and Springsteen and I (2013). Arts Alliance currently operates Park Circus (classic film sales and distribution), MetFilm (film school, production, and distribution), and Garden Studios (a 300,000+ sq ft creative production hub in West London), and in 2025 launched a £17 million co-production fund targeting independent feature films in the £5–10 million budget range.
