The company specializes in adapting literary works—novels and short stories—into scripted series and films for major streaming platforms. Best known for producing Hulu's Tell Me Lies (three seasons) and Netflix's First Kill, Belletrist has active first-look deals with Max and Blink49 Studios, with a robust development slate including Calabasas (Netflix), Bride Wars reimagination (Peacock), and One Fifth Avenue (in development).
