Brownstone Productions, Inc. is a private American film and television production company co-founded on October 16, 2002 by actress-director-producer Elizabeth Banks (CEO & CFO) and her husband, producer Max Handelman, now headquartered on the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California. The company is best known for producing the billion-dollar-grossing Pitch Perfect franchise, Charlie's Angels (2019), Cocaine Bear (2023), Bottoms (2023), the Hulu series Shrill, and the 2026 psychological thriller DreamQuil. In June 2025, Brownstone signed a first-look deal with Universal Television to develop scripted series across all platforms, with Pitch Perfect: K-Pop Idols and Crush already in development at Peacock.
