Eurimages

Eurimages is the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe, established in 1989 to promote independent European filmmaking through co-production financing, distribution, and exhibition support. Operating with an annual budget of approximately €27.5 million, the fund supports feature-length fiction, animation, and documentary films as international co-productions across its 39 European member states plus Canada. To date, Eurimages has backed over 2,600 films, with supported projects earning 12 Academy Award wins and top prizes at Cannes, Venice, and Berlin. The fund also runs the Council of Europe's Pilot Programme for Series Co-productions and champions gender equality and sustainability strategies across the European audiovisual industry.
