Glow Animation

The Glow Animation Studio is a Spanish independent animation studio and production company founded in 2016, based in Almendralejo, Extremadura. Originally created as the animation division of production company The Glow (founded 2010) to produce the award-winning feature 'Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles' (winner: Goya Award for Best Animated Film, European Film Award, Annecy Jury Prize), the studio quickly expanded to offer full-service animation production and post-production to international projects from Spain, Ireland, Mexico, the USA, Germany, and beyond. Known as a double Goya Award winner (also for 'Decorado', 2026), it is one of Spain's most recognized independent animation studios and a driving force behind Extremadura's emergence as an animation hub.
