Inscéal

Inscéal is an Irish independent film and television production company established in 2012 by producer Cleona Ní Chrualaoi and writer/director Colm Bairéad, who are married. The company's name translates from Irish as 'story within a story.' Inscéal is best known for producing the Oscar-nominated, BAFTA-nominated Irish-language feature film An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl, 2022), which became the highest-grossing Irish-language film of all time and the first Irish-language production ever nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. The company specialises in Irish-language and Irish-interest narrative feature film and is a member of Screen Producers Ireland.
