Jio Studios

Jio Studios is India's largest film production and distribution studio, launched in April 2018 as the media and content arm of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), the conglomerate led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani. The studio produces and co-produces films and web originals across Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, and other Indian languages through a partnership-first model that spans theatrical, OTT, and digital platforms. In FY2025 alone, Jio Studios delivered over 40 films and web originals, with Hindi-language films contributing to over 40% of India's total net box office collections. Notable titles include 'Stree 2,' 'Dhurandhar,' 'Laapataa Ladies' (India's Oscar submission), 'Article 370,' and 'Shaitaan.'
