KG Productions

KG Productions is a Paris-based French film production and distribution company founded in 1973 by acclaimed director Costa-Gavras and producer Michèle Ray-Gavras. The company has been the primary production vehicle for Costa-Gavras' politically engaged cinema while also championing emerging directorial talents such as Xavier Legrand, Tony Gatlif, Mehdi Charef, and Salem Brahimi. Since 2015, the company has expanded into domestic French distribution and international sales, and since 2012 Costa-Gavras and Michèle Ray-Gavras' son, Alexandre Gavras, has joined as a producer within the structure.
