Native Foreign is an Emmy-recognized, WBENC-certified women-owned creative agency and production company based in Culver City, CA, founded in 2018 by Rebecca Hamm and Nik Kleverov. The company specializes in brand storytelling, commercial production, and original content, integrating AI-driven production tools alongside traditional filmmaking craft. They are widely recognized as pioneers in AI storytelling, having created the first brand film made with AI (for Toys"R"Us using OpenAI's Sora) and the first AI-animated short film to achieve copyright (Critterz). On the entertainment side, they have worked with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Showtime, and have received two Emmy nominations for their collaboration with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on Storyline Online.
