Paramount Pictures Corporation, commonly known as Paramount Pictures, is one of the world's oldest and most iconic film production and distribution studios, founded in 1912 and now a flagship subsidiary of Paramount Skydance Corporation following the August 2025 merger of Paramount Global and Skydance Media. With a library of more than 1,000 film titles, the studio is home to legendary franchises including Mission: Impossible, Transformers, Star Trek, and Top Gun, as well as classic titles such as The Godfather and Titanic. Operating as one of Hollywood's 'Big Five' studios and the last major studio headquartered within the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, Paramount produces and distributes theatrical films under its flagship label and sub-labels including Paramount Animation, Paramount Players, and Nickelodeon Movies, while its parent company also oversees CBS, Paramount+, Pluto TV, MTV, Nickelodeon, and BET.
