Pernel Media is an independent French-UK television production company founded in 2009 by Samuel Kissous, headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris) with a UK office in Wokingham. The company is one of Europe's leading documentary producers, known for high-quality blue-chip factual series in history, science, archaeology, and wildlife, and has more recently expanded into drama. Listed as a Realscreen Global 100 company since 2019, Pernel works with major broadcasters and platforms worldwide including Canal+, France Télévisions, National Geographic, Channel 5, PBS/NOVA, NHK, and ZDF, and is a member of PACT and USPA.
