RTP

Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) is the state-owned public service broadcasting organisation of Portugal, 100% owned by the Portuguese government and funded primarily through a broadcasting contribution tax and advertising revenues. It operates eight television channels (including RTP1, RTP2, RTP Notícias, RTP Memória, two regional channels, and two international channels) and multiple national and international radio stations. RTP also operates RTP Play, Portugal's largest free streaming platform, and maintains 16 regional offices within Portugal plus international bureaus in Washington D.C., Brussels, Moscow, Brazil, and other locations. It is a full member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and is the longest-standing media organization in Portugal, with radio broadcasting history dating to 1935 and television to 1957.
