Sphere Abacus

Sphere Abacus is the worldwide sales and distribution arm of Sphere Media, a Montreal-based Canadian production company, and serves as the primary international distributor of IP owned by Bell Media, which acquired a majority stake in the company in March 2025. Founded in 2020 as Abacus Media Rights by Jonathan Ford, the company acquires and distributes a diverse slate of premium scripted and unscripted programming from independent producers globally, while also facilitating pre-sales and development finance. With a combined catalogue exceeding 5,500 hours of premium content following the Bell Media acquisition, Sphere Abacus is recognized as one of the UK's leading mid-sized international content distributors.
