Tornasol Media

Tornasol Media is one of Spain's leading film and television production companies, founded in Madrid in 1987 by Gerardo Herrero and Javier López Blanco, with Mariela Besuievsky joining as a partner in 1999. Over its history, the company has produced more than 170 feature films, documentaries, and TV series, many of them international co-productions with European and Latin American partners. Its productions have earned major international accolades including an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for 'The Secret in Their Eyes' (2010), a Palme d'Or at Cannes for 'The Wind That Shakes the Barley' (2006), and a Silver Lion at Venice for 'Last Circus' (2010). The company is widely regarded as one of the five most prolific and prestigious production companies in Spain.
