WME Independent

WME Independent is the film sales and financing arm of leading talent agency WME (William Morris Endeavor), focused on domestic film packaging, film financing consulting services, and sales across multiple platforms. Launched in September 2021 following the divestiture of Endeavor Content, it brought film sales services back inside the agency and represented high-profile independent films at major festivals including Sundance, Cannes, Venice, Toronto, and Berlin. As of May 2026, the division exited international sales following the departure of co-head Alex Walton, and now operates as a domestic-only sales label under the sole leadership of Deborah McIntosh.
