After graduating from the acclaimed Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College in 1982, Amos headed up an Ontario based full service advertising agency focusing on the production of music and commercials.
In 1996, he joined and eventually became a partner at Inner City Films, and produced two internationally awarded series: JOZI H, a medical drama (CBC/SABC) and the dramatic serial EKHAYA: A FAMILY CHRONICLE (CBC/SABC). While there, he also co-produced the dramatic Halifax-based serial NORTH/SOUTH (CBC), created/produced 100+ episodes of the internationally sold reality series SKIN DEEP (SLICE/Oxygen), wrote and produced the feature performance documentary IT AIN’T ALL JAZZ (Bravo!) and executive produced the feature documentary, GANESH, BOY WONDER.
He also executive produced the feature films HIGH CHICAGO (eOne), starring Colin Salmon (Resident Evil, Die Another Day), and BEAT THE WORLD (Sony Pictures/US, Wild Bunch/France & Germany and eOne/Canada & UK), the first dance movie to blend hip-hop and parkour.
Amos formed CIRCLE BLUE MEDIA in 2011. Recently, he produced ACROSS THE LINE (A71 Entertainment), Director X’s much anticipated debut film, and JEAN OF THE JONESES (Search Engine Films), a 2016 Toronto International Film Festival selection, and is currently in production with ANGELIQUE’S ISLE, an indigenous themed thriller based on an award winning screenplay.
